Structural Cladding refers to using slab slate for a multitude of different applications, from wall cladding, fireplace surrounds, countertops, the possibilies are endless. Sealing the slate may be done with mineral oil for countertops or a slate sealer for other applications. The average size of a slate slab is 86"x51" or 79"x39" and is able to be cut down to any specifications, availble in 3/4" and 1  1/4" thick.  Other larger sizes are available upon request.

Historic Black structural slate has been used for counter tops, wall cladding, stair treads, window sills, fireplace surrounds and many more functions.

The rich color of the slate with natural variations provides an interesting touch for any application.

Virginia Slate's Historic Gray structural slate slabs are medium gray in color with darker accents. Suitable for wall cladding, fireplace surrounds, or counterops slate is a unique material with an ageless quality.

Available in Natural Cleft, Brushed, and Honed finish.

 

 

Historic Green structural slate is vibrant green in color with very little variation. To prevent weathering seal the slate after installation.

Available in Honed, Brushed, and Natural cleft.

The color contrast of the multicolor slate vary dramatically, from the gray dominated background to the unique mustards, oranges, and browns of the highlights; this product will add the perfect touch to any application.

Multicolor structural slab slate is only available in natural cleft due to the variations in stone mineral deposits.
