This charcoal gray slate is a warm color with slight variations in surface qualities. Historic Black roofing slate is produced as a thicker slate to help provide the roof with a more substantial presence. These slate tiles add an extra dimension of depth to the entire roof. The gray/ black varies some from piece to piece which contributes to the unique look of the entire roof.

I just had this slate installed on my house and it worked out really well. The natural color variations and darks and lights really make the roof stand out. The perfect replacement from our synthetic roof.
