Classic Blue/ Black Slate

Our Classic Blue/ Black roofing slate is rich in color with a smooth uniform texture that makes it suitable for both formal and traditional architectures. It’s one of the hardest slates available, and provides the highest resistance to acids on the market. Our roofing slate will provide a lasting beauty, protection and attractive investments that will add value to any property. All roofing slates are standard ¼ - 3/8 inch thick. Classic Blue/Black slate roof tiles provide an excellent match for restorations or additions to older homes and a classic timeless look for new construction. This slate is commonly used as a substitution for “Buckingham Slate”, “Monson Black,” “PA Black Slate”, or “Banger Slate.”

River Stone Gray

River Stone Gray roofing slate is an excellent hard-vein with an even gray tone that has a distinctive course texture. Up close one can see slight lines in these slate roof tiles that add a nice texture once it has been installed on the roof. River Stone Gray is a warm battleship gray that darkens slightly over time. This slate has a  textured appearance with varying color from piece to piece. This slate is often sold as an “Unfading Gray” or a “Strata Gray/Black” slate match.

East Moorland Green Roof Slate

Unfading East Moorland Green has become one of our most popular roofing slate tiles due to its forest green tones. The variations from piece to piece and blend of light and dark shades clearly make this one of the most popular “Unfading Green Slate” on the market today. These slate shingles are often sold as an “Unfading Green Slate” or a “Mottled Green Slate”.

Colonial Black

Colonial Black is quarried with a uniform black tone with little variation from piece to piece. Yet due to its higher percentage of Calcium, about 10% to 20% percent of these slate shingles will weather to lighter shades of grays and buffs.  The weathering slate roofing is commonly used as a substitute for “Vermont Black” or Vermont Clear Black”. This weathering slate is commonly used in Historic districts allowing the new roof to have an aged appearance.

Colonial Blue / Gray Roofing Slate

This beautiful slate roofing is an Unfading Blue / Gray or Blue / Black colored slate.  The color and texture of this roofing slate is clearly one of the nicest quality roof slates available in today’s market.  This slate is the perfect match for “Buckingham Slate” and or “Monson Black Slate”.  The cost of this slate roofing is a little bit higher than most, but the quality of it will save you money in the long run with less needed to finish the job.

Olive Green

Olive green slate is a unique product with a uniform unfading color and texture. These slate roofing tiles would be considered similar to Unfading Green.
