Our Historic Black Landscaping slate is the same slate stone as the floor tiles yet in a thicker profile able to withstand not only freeze thaw but also a direct set application. The slate paving stones come 3/4" thick with a natural cleft surface.
Historic Gray Landscaping Slate is a natural cleft material in a medium gray color. The stone works well for easy transitions from our interior product directly to this exterior stone. The slate is easily mud set to avoid a freeze thaw break-up.
