Historic Gray honed slate is lighter in color than the Natural cleft and with much more natural variations in the slate that are visible. The slate flooring tiles are perfectly smooth with almost a "watermark" characteristic from the visible elements in the slate. This stone is available in slate flooring as well as slate countertop applications. (Thickness varies based on application.)

This slate worked exceptionally well for our counter tops. I love the mat finish with the natural stone color variations.
