The newly constructed Long and Foster Companys headquarters in Northern Virginia was roofed with natural roofing slate. The Virginia Slate Company supplied over 2000 squares of natural slate roofing for the project. |

At the University of Richmond the job was to match the existing aged slate and adjusting the blend of slates in order to accomplish this. The end result ended up being a blend of 70% East Moorland Green and 30% Unfading Green. |

When the City of Richmond decided to refurbish their Manchester Courthouse, the roof was one of the first things examined. The old roof was originally roofed with Buckingham Slate with later additions roofed in synthetic slate. All of the roofing was removed, preserving any of the original slate, and slating the rest with Colonial Blue Gray Roofing Slate. |
